Women's Day Research Cafe In-Person

Come along to celebrate women and research at LJMU and beyond!

With International Women's Day taking place on Sunday, 8 March, we're celebrating early with a lunchtime research cafe. Join the Library and the Doctoral Academy to learn about research from across LJMU and beyond by PhD students and lecturers, enjoy a free lunch and find out something new.

Our speakers will be:

Fatiha Bouanani, PhD Student, Modern Languages and Cultures, University of Liverpool

Jennifer Cavanagh, PhD student, Creative Writing: How does the space create the text?

Clarissa Frigerio, Student-led coordinator (Academic), PhD Researcher, Edge Hill University: Gender flexible pedagogies in British Early Years Education

The Girls' Network : LJMU Corporate charity for 2020, whose mission is to inspire and empower girls from least advantaged communities by connecting them with a mentor and a network of professional female role models.

After each talk, there will be time for questions from the audience.
