Please note this network is only open to Module Leaders to attend.

The Academy is particularly interested in supporting induction so that students successfully transition into active online learners. Trying to achieve this across every single module in every single programme could possibly lead to confusion for staff and students. By identifying a key lynchpin module, the programme team can focus the initial activities of online learning that help students socialise and become familiar with the particular technologies they will be using on the course. The network will make it easier for the Academy to target information and resources to you and offers a space in which you can meet with others to share issues, ideas and solutions.

Please note that we only need one lynchpin module per level per programme. Please discuss this with your programme leader to ensure this is organised appropriately.

Aims

This network aims to:

• allow you to connect with other staff to benefit from sharing ideas, solutions and resources.
• provide a hub from which useful information from the Academy can be targeted at those who would most benefit from it.
• make resource is available strategically to assist those running large programmes or modules to be able to adapt to active blended learning.
