Developing Racial Literacy (For Managers) - Virtual Workshop
Liverpool John Moores University is proud to provide staff with the opportunity to engage in a virtual workshop that focuses on developing racial literacy.
The session aims to address such subjects as; biases, intersectionality and power and to help us develop racial literacy.
This opportunity is FREE and open to LJMU/JMSU staff - Places are limited and can be booked, using the registration link provided.
Aims Of The Workshop:
- Utilise a series of techniques, theory and facilitated discussions to help further engage various audiences.
- Develop a shared language in relation to race equality through conversations with colleagues and students.
- Build confidence and support difficult conversations in and beyond the University.
- Consider what organisations, teams and individuals can do to create space for conversations about race equity and further engage in intersectional work.
