Our Academic Skills tutors can help you with a range of skills, including academic writing, dissertations, critical thinking, reading, note-taking, revising and taking exams.

Please note we will not write assignments for you or proofread your work, but we will try and guide you to become more effective in your studies.

We are not subject lecturers. If you have a subject specific question that we are unable to answer then you should contact your course lecturer.

If you are unable to attend a one-to-one appointment, then you may like to use our 'FeedForward' service, where you can email (feedforward.skills@ljmu.ac.uk) your assignment to us, and then receive advice on your written work before submitting it for assessment.
