Christmas Research Cafe In-Person

You are warmly welcomed to Liverpool John Moores University Library's annual research event: Christmas Research Cafe, a celebration of research being carried out at LJMU.

Organised by the Research Support Team within Library Services, this public event on Monday, 2 December from 14.00pm-16.00pm, we invite you to come along and enjoy refreshments while discovering some of the fascinating research being carried out across different faculties.

Presentations will last about 20-25 minutes each and there will be time set aside for questions and discussion with the audience.

The speakers for this event are:

Dr. Kehinde Ross, Senior Lecturer in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. His area of speciality is treatment for skin disorders such as psoriasis, eczema, impaired wound healings and alopecia.

Rachel Stalker, Senior Lecturer, Law and Legal Advice Centre Coordinator. She will be speaking about running the Legal Advice Centre at LJMU, legal empowerment and public legal understanding. 

Dr. Amy Whitehead, Reader and Programme Manager, Sports Coaching and Sport Development. She will be speaking about the Think Aloud Protocol and how this can apply to everyday thinking. 

Although this event is free and open to the anyone, booking is required.
