CANCELLED Collaboration that Counts

CANCELLED Collaboration that Counts In-Person

Research collaboration across disciplines and institutions is growing. Funders are increasingly awarding fewer but larger grants to groups of researchers combining their expertise and effort for maximum impact. The solitary researcher is becoming less common as meaningful research relies more and more on team effort.

This workshop will look at the benefits and challenges of collaboration and consider the issues you need to take into account to make a collaboration effective. It will introduce you to a range of tools to help you find suitable collaborators and encourage you to put measures in place, right at the start of a collaboration, to limit problems later.

LJMU academics, from a range of disciplines, who have been part of successful collaborations will be on hand to share their experiences and offer advice for getting the most from your collaborations.
