Canvas Revisited & Digital Accessibility

Canvas Revisited & Digital Accessibility

Canvas Revisited & Digital Accessibility provides a suite of training programmes that are designed to equip staff with skills to deal with some of the key areas of Technology Enhanced Learning. These include; Assessment, Course Content, Active Learning, In class polling and Using video to enhance learning. The sessions will be hands on 'workshops' that aim to, in addition to enhancing practice, provide a 'take away' tool or element that can be used for the coming academic year. The sessions also include important information and advice on practice in relation to Accessibility of VLE and Copyright, two areas of significant importance to the HE sector right now. There will also be an opportunity to feedback on which Learning Technologies you would like to see prioritised going forward.

The legislation regarding digital accessibility is changing, the second part of the session will provide you with practical advice on how to make sure your course meets these requirements.
