Using Archives and Special Collections Research Cafe Online

Research cafes are an opportunity for PhD students and academic researchers to share their work in an informal environment.  This research cafe will focus on researchers that have used and/or worked within Special Collections or Archives as a part of their research.  It will be a chance for others to learn what things are available, what it's like to research within them and learn something new about the fantastic research and resources at LJMU.

There will be talks from each speaker, with time for questions after.

Speakers:

Val Stevenson, Associate Director, LJMU Library

Katie Taylor, PhD Candidate, English: Digitised Magazines: Reading The Brownies' Book (1920-1921) Online

Lynne Wainwright, PhD Candidate, Humanities and Social Sciences: Tracing the Past: tangible archive research
