Christmas Research Café Online

Research cafes are a chance to learn more about research going on at LJMU in a more informal environment.  This year's Christmas Cafe will feature three speakers from across our different faculties.  This is your opportunity to discover something new, challenge your thinking, ask questions to different experts and become more aware of the fantastic research we have at LJMU.

Each speaker will have 15-20 minutes to speak and there will be time for questions after each.

Confirmed speakers for this year are:

Nadia Butler, Public Health Institute: Cycles of violence in England and Wales: the contribution of childhood abuse to risk of violence revictimisation in adulthood

Professor Stefano Mariani, School of Biological and Environmental Sciences: Stand-offs, Gatekeepers and Turf wars: Negotiating a path to safety, through the jungle of Greed and Cattiness in Environmental Research

Adam Vasco, School of Education: To Decolonise or diversify? That is the question?
