'Religion and Belief' – Virtual Workshop

Liverpool John Moores University is proud to be working in partnership AdvanceHe in order to provide staff with the opportunity to engage in a virtual (90min) ‘Religion and Belief’ that focuses on Religion.

 

Workshop Dates/Times: 

•  Tuesday 28 March 2023   |     13:30 – 16:00  

 

This opportunity is FREE and open to LJMU/JMSU staff - Places are limited and can be booked, using the registration link provided. 

 

Religion and Belief workshop

These Religion and Belief workshops will include the topics:

+ Developing an inclusive campus and culture

+ Understanding religion, belief and non-belief

+ Supporting staff and students with religious belief or non-belief

+ Scenarios – What would you do? What would you say?

Participants will aim to:

+ Strengthen awareness and understanding of the policies and processes that support dignity, respect and inclusion at LJMU, as well as the legislative framework.

+ Understand roles and responsibilities in tackling inappropriate behaviour and promoting an inclusive culture.

+ Develop a deeper understanding of some religions and beliefs.

+ Identify strategies to develop a more inclusive campus and culture.
