Next steps in Python: Numerical computing with Numpy In-Person

Numpy is a Python library which provides powerful data structures to that guarantee efficient calculations with arrays and matrices and supplies a large library of high-level mathematical functions that operate on these arrays and matrices.  This session introduces these data structures and goes through how to manipulate them and use them for efficient computations.

This session will be an hour long, with a further half hour for discussion and questions.

See the Maths & Stats canvas course for further information and advice about using statistical programmes in your degree study.

This is a hybrid event - delivered both in person and on Teams - so ONLY book a place if you are going to attend in person.
