Moving On Up Now: Introduction to Leadership and Management Concepts - Part One (Online) Online
“Part of the LJMU LEAD Programme – Leadership Enhancement and Development”
This two-part workshop is designed to provide staff with a solid foundation in the fundamental principles, concepts, and practices of effective leadership and management. The workshops are suitable for individuals aspiring to leadership roles, professionals transitioning into management positions, or anyone wishing to strengthen their leadership skills.
A key focus of the workshops will be an exploration of the differences between leadership and management, highlighting the unique qualities and responsibilities associated with each role, and the powerful impact that effective leaders can have. Participants will have the opportunity to focus and reflect on their existing skills and consider how they may develop their styles, approaches, and methods, in order to reach their full potential within a leadership / management role.

2. Examining the roles and responsibilities of a leader and a manager
3. Developing effective communication and interpersonal skills for leadership
