Group Mentoring for Digital TLA (Ethnically Diverse Staff)

Our Group Mentoring sessions create space for you to think through any issues or explore potential developments in digital for digital teaching, learning and assessment. As a mentoring approach, you bring along your own issues/areas to explore for others in the session to share experiences, and to also build your network across your School, Faculty, or University.

Bring along one of your own issues/areas to explore, which may relate to, for example:

  • Digital tools for engagement and immersive experience in the classroom/online
  • Digital assessment
  • Digital applications for employability
  • Artificial intelligence / ChatGPT / Large Language Models in your TLA
  • Communications for student engagement and success

The session will be structured as follows:

  • Welcome, ground-rules, brief introductions
  • The facilitator will confirm who has an issue/area of exploration and set time limits
  • Each individual shares their single issue/area of exploration
  • Participants may share brief experiences or ideas
  • The facilitator manages time to ensure each person can benefit from the experience.

The sessions are part of the LJMU-led Digi:Đổi Consortium, a collaboration with JISC, ALT, and Vietnamese universities (more details are here). The British Council funded Digi:Đổi Consortium ("đổi” meaning transformation in Vietnamese) is driving digital transformation and intercultural inclusion in universities across Vietnam and the UK, as part of the British Council’s ‘Going Global Partnerships’ scheme.

By registering, you agree to us collecting data about your participation in the event and relevant equality and diversity data so we can actively support participation for those typically excluded or overlooked. We share participation data as part of our EDI commitment to the British Council.
