Oxford Medical Simulation: Faculty of Health Workshop In-Person

OMS (Oxford Medical Simulation) is currently used within Simulated Practice Learning to engage learners with immersive VR simulations in-headset or on-screen, to promote professional development, and set the standard for patient care. OMS are offering this workshop for the Faculty, as an opportunity to help academics to identify where OMS scenarios can be embedded in their programmes to enhance content delivery, student experience and achievement of learning outcomes. The day will begin will involve the opportunity to try the platform out for yourselves, demonstrations of scenarios and ways OMS can support delivery including dedicated time to discuss individual queries with the team.

Coffee and Lunch will be provided. 

Approximate timings:

09:00 - 09:30:  Coffee and pastries

09:30 - 12:00: Introduction and Challenge/Opportunity identification

12:00 - 13:00:  Lunch

13:00 - 15:30:  Try it for yourselves! Followed by curriculum mapping deep dive.
