An Introduction to Managing at LJMU In-Person
"Part of the LJMU LEAD Programme - Leadership Enhancement and Development".
It is an introduction to the responsibilities of a line manager at LJMU, including the key policies and processes that you will be required to follow and a demonstration of the Staff Infobase system.
This session is designed to highlight the key responsibilities and expectations of line managers within LJMU including those in relation to employee engagement and embedding a culture of high performance.
The session will include the following:
- The key stages of the employee life-cycle
- The key policies and processes that managers should be aware of
- Supporting your team in regards to health and wellbeing
- The requirements of a manager to use key IT systems including Hireserve, Actus and Staff Infobase
