Courageous conversations around race, gender, disability, and sexual orientation [Online] Online
Liverpool John Moores University is excited to collaborate with the expert management consultancy, MM Creative Solutions, to offer staff the chance to participate in an in-person session titled ‘Courageous Conversations.’ This session will delve into important topics such as race, gender, disability, and sexual orientation. Additionally, an in-person version of the same session is scheduled for Thursday, 28 November 2024, 10:30am - 12pm
This opportunity is completely FREE and available to LJMU/JMSU staff. However, spaces are limited, so be sure to secure your spot by using the provided registration link.
Workshop Objectives:
- Enhance racial literacy
- Deepen understanding of intersectionality, power dynamics, and systemic advantages
- Equip participants with skills to engage in challenging discussions about race
- Gain insights on how to foster and support meaningful change
- Develop actionable steps to implement moving forward
