Stepping into the world of Lucky Roy Singh - LGBTQ+ Inclusion In-Person
The Diversity and Inclusion Team is excited to invite Lucky Roy Singh, an award-winning LGBTQ+ activist, honour-based domestic violence campaigner, public speaker, drag queen, and author. Lucky will lead a two-hour session titled 'Stepping into the world of Lucky Roy Singh' that aims to enhance understanding of LGBTQI+ laws and foster a spirit of inclusion for the LGBTQI+ community.
This session will explore topics such as:
- Lucky's lived experience as an LGBTQ+ individual
- Gender Identity and Expression
- Inclusive Language and Intersectionality
- Active Allyship
The session objective is for attendees to know how best to promote inclusivity and empower our community to be proactive and aware of the challenges faced by LGBTQI+/Minoritised communities.
This opportunity is completely FREE and available to LJMU/JMSU staff. However, spaces are limited, so be sure to secure your spot by using the provided registration link.
