This session explains how experiential learning has been aligned with knowledge exchange through LJMU Business Clinic model.  This enables students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world workplace settings with actual project clients that require practical assessment and deliverables. This approach aligns with the LJMU skills and mindset framework (Hyperlink). The value of this work is evidenced by tangible outcomes for clients, while students gain hands-on experience, developing confidence, professionalism, and industry-relevant skills.

The session shows how you could translate this model into other disciplines, presenting innovative opportunities to address the unique challenges across other disciplines and provide students across LJMU with a work-related learning experience. It highlights how you could work within your resources and adapt the approach to fit the specific needs and learning objectives of different fields.

This event will be held in-person in the Education Building, Room 1.01.
