The Undiscovered Country: Leading Innovation and Change Management

The Undiscovered Country: Leading Innovation and Change Management Online

“Part of the LJMU LEAD Programme – Leadership Enhancement and Development”

Change is inevitable in any organisation and setting, and can, if not handled appropriately, be a source of confusion and worry for the individuals it affects. This workshop is designed to focus on both the practical and logistical aspects of coordinating change, whilst also considering the psychology of change and its impact on individuals and teams.

Participants on the workshop will have the opportunity to consider the drivers of change, identify positive step changes they can make themselves, and work through approaches that allow change to be effectively communicated and positively embraced.

Key topics covered will include:

  1. The fundamentals of change management, including driving forces and restraints

  1. Stakeholder engagement and communication, and overcoming challenges

  1. How to break down the change process into manageable phases

  1. Identify methods to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives
