Dear Colleagues 

The Liverpool Institute for Research in Education (LIFE Institute) Annual Conference 2025 is scheduled for Monday 14th July (09:30am to 5pm) in the Student Life Building at LJMU.

We are delighted that we will be joined by the current President of the British Educational Research Association (BERA), Dr Marlon Moncrieffe, as our keynote speaker.

Following on from highly successful events over the last two years, we encourage all staff to participate and contribute to this conference on educational and pedagogical research. It will be an opportunity to formally launch our new LIFE research Institute; share your educational research and work in progress through presentations; meet our partners and hear about their regional/national/international priorities in educational research; see the work of our postgraduate research students; and meet with professional services staff working in researcher development.

Registration is open to all staff across the university until 30 May.

A free networking lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. For catering and venue purposes we need to provide accurate numbers of participants, so please only register if you are able to attend.

If you register but are no longer able to attend, then it is essential that you inform us by 13 June.

CALL FOR PAPERS

This year we'll be giving members of the Institute and all staff across the university the opportunity to present their educational and pedagogical research. Abstracts are invited for 10 minute lightening talks or 20 minute presentations.
